airberlin opens exclusive waiting area at Berlin-Tegel airport

airberlin passengers who hold a topbonus Gold or Silver Card can pass their waiting period in comfort. Newspapers and magazines, cold and hot beverages and a television showing a news programme are all provided at no cost. Power points are available for charging and connecting electronic devices such as laptops or mobile phones. topbonus Gold or Silver Card holders and one companion are entitled to access the exclusive waiting area with their card.

airberlin has been offering its passengers an exclusive waiting area in Terminal A of the airport since November 2009. Additional such exclusive waiting areas at other German airports, including Dusseldorf, will follow in due course. The award-winning topbonus frequent flyer program is the second largest in Germany. In the past year alone, the number of members increased by 20 per cent to 2.4 million. The topbonus program is free of charge and new members can join by registering at airberlin.com/topbonus.
