For flights to the snow or to grab the last rays of sunshine by the sea this winter: airberlin, Germany’s second largest airline, is again offering 1,000,000 additional tickets at bargain fares that can be booked from 6th to 8th September 2011. Europe is waiting to be discovered from 44.99 euros one way, while fares to long-haul destinations start at 189.99 euros one way.

Flights from Düsseldorf and Hamburg to the “Christkindlesmarkt”, the famous Christmas market in Nuremberg, are available from just 44.99 euros one way. For the start of the skiing seasons there are flights to Verona, Salzburg or Zurich, also at the bargain price of 44.99 euros one way, for instance from Düsseldorf or Berlin. Tickets starting at 119.99 euros from Nuremberg to Sharm el Sheik offer sunny prospects. Passengers drawn to destinations further afield can travel from Düsseldorf and Berlin, for instance to go Christmas shopping in New York from 249.99 euros one way or to catch some sunshine in Thailand from 349.99 euros; or there are flights from Munich to Windhoek in Southern Africa starting at 359.99 euros.

The additional tickets at these great fares are for flights between 1st October 2011 and 31st January 2012 to numerous destinations within airberlin’s route network.
