SAS announced it has finalised agreements with the Danish Pilots' Association (DPF), the Norwegian SAS Pilots' Association (NSF) and the Swedish Pilots' Association (SPF) with the signing of a two year collective agreement on salaries and general terms of service.

The agreement period is from 01-Apr-07, through to 31-Mar-09. SAS now has multiyear agreements with all 39 trade union organisations in the Group.

The parties have agreed that, in coming years, they will work together in work groups on central issues, such as productivity improvements and rules on working hours.

SAS President and CEO, Mats Jansson, said "As a result of this agreement, we now have basic conditions for continued stability in our production for the next few years. We can now use all our energy to implement Strategy 2011 in a changed market scenario, with intensifying competition and record-high fuel prices."
