Air France and KLM increases fuel surcharge

As a result of the rise in oil prices, Air France and KLM announced they are increasing their fuel surcharges, effective immediately. Air France will charge EUR2 per segment on domestic flights, EUR4 per segment on medium-haul flights and EUR10 per segment on long-haul flights. KLM will charge EUR2 per segment on medium-haul flights and EUR10 per segment on long-haul flights.

 

Half of these increases will be withdrawn as soon as the oil prices stabilises at a level below USD100 per barrel for a durable period. The remainder of these increases will be withdrawn once the oil price stabilises below USD95 per barrel.
