Finnair will begin codeshare cooperation with the Icelandic airline, Icelandair, from the beginning of May-08. The agreement covers the Helsinki-Reykjavik route operated by Icelandair, which will be operated four times per week from Jun-08. In May, there will be two flights per week from Helsinki to Reykjavik.

Icelandair's flights between Helsinki and Reykjavik will carry a Finnair flight number. Icelandair's flight number, on the other hand, will be added to flights on the Helsinki-Warsaw route operated by Finnair.

Finnair new partners also include Cimber Air of Denmark and Skyways of Sweden. With Cimber Air, Finnair cooperate in terms of prices and timetables on the Helsinki-Norrköping route and with Skyways on the route between Helsinki and Sundsvall. There are six flights per week from Helsinki to Norrköping, and the Helsinki-Sundsvall route is flown five times per week.

Finnair already has a long-standing codeshare agreement with the Danish airline, Sun Air, on the Helsinki-Billund route which operates six times per week.
