View More Lufthansa News Tags :Continental Europe, Lufthansa Lufthansa announced plans to expand its route network from Milan to more European destinations. In a first step, from the beginning of 2009, six new Embraer 195 jets will be stationed at Milan Malpensa Airport. The aircraft will be operated by the Italian Lufthansa subsidiary, Air Dolomiti, and will be deployed on intra-European routes.
Lufthansa Passenger Airlines’ Executive Vice President of Services and Human Resources, Karl Ulrich Garnadt, said “Milan and the Lombardy region are among the strongest and most important regions in Europe and have a high passenger volume. By expanding our flight offering, we will be able to provide an even denser network of routes to attractive destinations in Europe for our Italian customers in future.” |
