Estonian Air cuts over to new IT platform

On 03-May-08 and 04-May-08, Estonian Air ticket offices, online booking environment and web page will be cutting over to Amadeus IT platform. Due to that, Estonian Air’s web page will not be available for two days, booking and selling of tickets will face disturbances in all channels, including the Internet, travel agencies, and Estonian Air ticket offices and call centre. Cut over to the new IT platform starts on 02-May-08. The system change does not affect check-in or flight operations. New web page and booking environment will be available on 05-May-08.
The new IT platform will enable Estonian Air to provide more advanced and convenient services, including e-ticket. Amadeus IT platform will make it possible to purchase on Estonian Air web site, in addition to Estonian Air network, also connecting flights throughout Europe with partner airlines. This makes travel planning and ticket purchasing much less complicated.
