Malév and Hungarian Post in cooperation agreement

In 2007, Malév carried 108,915 mailbags consigned by Hungarian Post Co Ltd. The quantity of postal deliveries peaks during Christmas and New Year, as well as around Easter. During these periods, 3-4 times the average daily amount is loaded into aircraft.
 
Hungarian Post consigns more than 900 tonnes of mail to Malév each year. The national airline carries this to 37 countries around the world, where partner airlines then take it on to a further 53 countries.
