Thomas Cook Take Off From Leeds Bradford International Airport

Thomas Cook Airlines took off on 02-May-08 with its own Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA) based aircraft, increasing its capacity by 20% for this Summer season and providing a wider choice of holiday destinations.
The carrier will operate an Airbus A320, which carries 180 passengers, and will be operating to 17 destinations in total, including Mainland Spain, the Balearics, the Canaries, Greece, Malta, Portugal, Turkey and Cyprus.
Frank Pullman, Managing Director of Thomas Cook Airlines, said: “We took the decision to base an aircraft at Leeds Bradford Airport this Summer due to popularity of and the demand for the flights that we offer.”
