Flybe announced plans to add “a minimum of two extra return flights” on the Isle of Man-Manchester route to accommodate increased traffic expected for the Isle of Man motorcycle races, held between 24-May-08 and 07-Jun-08.

Isle of Man regional carrier, EuroManx, ceased operations on 09-May-08 and entered receivership, citing “insurmountable obstacles”.
