Air France, in co-operation with subsidiaries CityJet and VLM Airlines, is to revise its service between London City and Strasbourg to improve departure times for customers. Responding to customer demand, the service will provide more convenient departures at the beginning and end of each working day, starting from 30-Mar, improving travel options between the two cities.

The Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic issued a call for tenders on 05-Feb-09 for the purchase of its stake in Czech Airlines. As a result, Air France-KLM will be submitting 23-Mar-09 a non binding Expression of Interest in order to access the airline's data room.

The first Air France A380, powered with Engine Alliance GP7200 engines, successfully completed a 4 hour inaugural test route flight from Airbus, Toulouse on 12-Feb-09. The aircraft flew to Airbus Hamburg on 16-Feb-09, where it will be painted in Air France livery, and its interior will be customised for the airline. The A380 is scheduled for delivery to Air France in October.

Air France announced (15-Jan-09) plans to introduce an additional flight to its weekly schedule between Amman, Jordan to Paris, France, following talks between Air France and Airport International Group (AIG) executives in Amman last week.
