Finnair launched a new interline agreement with Australian airline, Jetsar, expanding the network connections in the Asia-Pacific area. The cooperation started in December 2010 and allows customers to purchase a Jetstar, Jetstar Asia, Valuair or Jetstar Pacific flight as part of a single integrated transaction and travel itinerary through Finnar’s distribution network and sold on a Finnair e-ticket.

new loyalty programme agreement which allows travellers to earn Points when flying on the networks of both airlines. This reciprocal frequent flyer agreement enables both Velocity Members* and Flying Club Members^ to earn Velocity Points or Flying Club Miles on V Australia and Virgin Atlantic flights.

FINLAND :
Finnair and British Airways started code-share flights between Bangkok in Thailand and Sydney in Australia on 26-Oct-08. The code-share flights are operated with both Finnair and British Airways flight numbers. At the moment Finnair flies to Bangkok twice a day.
