TUI Travel PLC forms JV with S-Group

TUI Travel PLC (TUI Travel) is pleased to announce (15-Apr-09) that further to the statement on 10-Apr-08 that it was forming a joint venture with S-Group Capital Management Limited, (S-Group), together with affiliated parties, to develop its Russian and CIS leisure tourism presence, it has today signed a definitive joint venture agreement to this effect.

The European Commission has cleared (22-Dec-08) under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed joint venture between Aeroports de Paris (ADP) and The Nuance Group (TNG). The Commission found that the merger would not significantly restrict effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it.
