FRANCE : Between 16-Apr and 30-Oct-09, members of Nice Airport’s passenger programme Club Airport Premier (CAP) and Air France’s frequent flyer programme travelling on the Nice-Paris Orly domestic route will pilot a new boarding device, Pass and Fly.

All members of SAS Scandinavian Airlines' frequent flyer program EuroBonus can as of 08-Apr-09 redeem their points for upgrades on Air China and Shanghai Airlines. The two airlines have with immediate effect joined the Star Alliance Upgrade Awards program. It also entitles Air China's PhoenixMiles members and Shanghai Airlines' Crane Club members to upgrade on SAS flights.

GERMANY : Air Berlin announced (11-Mar-09) it has completely revised its topbonus frequent flyer scheme. From 01-Apr-09 topbonus members will collect up to 300% more status and award miles on flights with Air Berlin and NIKI.

GERMANY : Air Berlin has completely revised its topbonus frequent flyer scheme. From 01-Apr-09 topbonus members will collect up to 300% more status and award miles on flights with Air Berlin and NIKI. The entry level to the airline’s frequent flyer scheme is the topbonus Card Classic. The award miles collected can be redeemed for free flights worldwide or for an upgrade to Business Class. The monthly bargain tickets are new. These are special offers that allow topbonus members to book an award flight from just 3,000 miles on ten selected routes.
