Brussels Airlines and time:matters, a company of Lufthansa Cargo have announced (11-Mar-09) their cooperation. Thanks to this new partnership, time:matters can now use Brussels Airlines flights departing from Brussels Airport for its “sameday” services, packages that are picked up and delivered throughout Europe on the same day.

Travelport GDS, global distribution system providers, operating both the Galileo and Worldspan platforms, announced (12-Feb-09) a partnership with Transport Clearing House (TCH) in Russia. TCH acts as the executive body of the Air Transport Settlement System (ATSS), the organisation which supports revenue settlement procedures for over 6,800 travel agencies and around 120 airlines.

Ryanair announced (16-Feb-09) a new partnership with Costa Cruises, offering cruise holidays to Ryanair passengers. Ryanair currently operates over 820 routes, 50 of which connect with port destinations offered by Costa Cruises in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.

Ryanair announced (10-Feb-09) a new partnership with Alan Rogers Travel, offering campsite holidays to Ryanair passengers in Europe. Ryanair’s passengers will initially be able to choose from 500 campsites growing to over 2,000 in more than 8 countries across Europe, by logging on to the website.

Cargolux Airlines International S.A. entered (06-Feb-09) into a strategic partnership in Italy to create Cargolux Italia for intercontinental all-cargo services from Milan’s Malpensa airport. Cargolux Italia applied for a business license and certification with ENAC, the Italian civil aviation authority, in Dec-08. It aims to become a fully certified Italian all-cargo carrier.

SAS and American Express announced (05-Feb-09) a multi-year partnership arrangement. The agreement will include co-operation across several products and customer programmes. The partners will be investing in the development of future projects to provide mutual and benefits to both SAS and American Express customers.
