Following a tender process, British Airways World Cargo has chosen (12-Mar-09) to continue operating its longhaul freighter programme from London Stansted. During the evaluation procedure BA World Cargo investigated a number of options, including a possible relocation to Kent International Airport.

British Airways World Cargo has announced the appointment of a new BA World Cargo customer service team in Thailand. From 03-Nov-08, the new team replaced Qantas Freight, the carrier's previous general sales agent (GSA) in Thailand, and is based in a new headquarters at WFS-PG Cargo Suvarnabhumi Airport.

British Airways World Cargo has announced the launch of a third daily Dubai passenger service as part of its Winter schedule. There is just one change to the long-haul freighter programme with the London Stansted - Hong Kong rotation, which will see Munich replace Cologne from 29-Oct-08.
